New Fantasy Series Announcement

So the fantasy series I’ve been working on is called GAIA, Plains Of Eternia. This series is an amalgamation of everything I love about futuristic fantasy, where magic and technology exist side by side.

The World

The story is mostly set on the titular world of GAIA, a world in the form of a hollow

sphere where the inhabitants live on the inside surface. Eternia is one of many continents on GAIA and is where the series takes place. The series is contained within GAIA so venturing in space ships to outer space isn’t a part of this series as that sort of thing is leaning more toward sci-fi rather than fantasy.

Now I said the series is “mostly set on GAIA”, in this universe GAIA has an equal and opposite world known as Hades. Where GAIA is a hollow sphere containing a beautiful utopian world, Hades is a world whose inhabitants live on the exterior surface (like all planets) and is a violent and chaotic world. And before you wonder, Hades is not on the exterior surface of GAIA, they are completely separate worlds. Some of the main characters venture into Hades on their journeys meaning there are brief (or not so brief) moments of the story that aren’t set on GAIA.

The Setup

We kind of meld into the plot here because GAIA and Hades have begun crossing over into one another in an event known as Ragnarok, the harbinger to the end times. So the main story revolves around three main characters who are on their own quests to hopefully stop Ragnarok.

Maybe this will help illustrate the episodic character setup….maybe

Each episode released will revolve around one of the three main characters, so technically, there will be 3 versions of each episode, one devoted to each character and their own story arc. The main characters are Viktor The Sword Master, Aurelia the Warrior Goddess, and Jentha The Last Saint. Each character has their own completely separate story arc so reading all of them won’t result in reading the same events over three times (that would be dumb) but obviously their stories are interwoven into the bigger picture of what’s happening.

The series will progress in arcs, the first of which will be the Ragnarok Arc which I plan will run for five episodes then the next arc will follow and so on.

The series is still a work in progress at this point but I’m entering the final phase of preparation and will be ready to start writing and illustrating it soon.

I’ll be posting updates and general stuff (character introductions etc) on my Instagram, there’s a link at the bottom of the page, unless of course you got here through Instagram then you already know this.
